FIDO2 / Passkey compatible Authenticator for Linux

Sign-in and manage your Passkeys without loosing control over your credentials.

PassKeeZ uses the same database format as the KeePass family of password managers. Your Passkeys remain encrypted at rest and no data is shared with other services.

The source code is completely open source and most of it, including dependencies, is licensed under MIT. You’re free to inspect, share, contribute and fork the project.

About PassKeeZ

PassKeeZ uses the same underlying credential-database format as KeePass and KeePassXC for storing your most sensitive information. All sensitive information is stored in an offline, encrypted file. You’re always in control of that file and can store it any location.

This also means, you can use PassKeeZ for signing into your favourite apps using Passkeys without installing any additional browser plugins or password managers.

Currently, PassKeeZ is only available for Linux.

NOTE

Apps installed in sand-boxed environments, e.g., snap or flatpack, usually don’t work with PassKeeZ as they lack the required hooks.
